Winter Heart Practice

  • Aldermarsh 6436 Maxwelton Road Clinton, WA, 98236 United States (map)

Join in practicing in movement, stillness and contemplation.

Winter is ending. A new paradigm and season is near. Come and enjoy practicing in the beauty of the grounds of The Marsh House at Aldermarsh, and expansive studio space with harmonious energetic properties and surrounded by nature’s beautiful abundance.

All levels will be welcomed. This class designed to bring attention to the physical and metaphorical heart space. The heart (anahata) chakra serves to nurture, cultivate empathy, kindness, and love. To be in good standing and relationship with others, we must cultivate these attributes within ourselves. At a time where interconnectedness is vital, this class will serve to move from the heart and bring us to alignment and connection.

Physically the chest can feel closed, tight or stuck. We will practice breathing and postures which open and un-stick the stuck. This class will help to free your body from patterns which can cause pain and stress, particularly in the chest and upper body. Props and modifications will be available if needed.

Come and liberate your heart and watch it shine more brightly!
