Full Body/Toes to Top Workshop for Boss B**ches
Bring your beautiful body to learn how to take better care of it- from the ground up!
2-2.5 hours to go from toes to top in detail and with time to break down and assist in any questions or modifications that may arise.
This practice is for all practitioners and all levels. (The ability to be able to get up and down from the floor several times through the class is ideal).
Starting with some basic teachings of movement anatomy, fascia/tissue/ joint recovery work and its importance for human body optimal functioning; and moving into breathing techniques to bolster the results of the therapy ball work, each student will receive tools to use on the mat to create overall release and relief.
Three sizes of therapy balls will be included for use (and offered for sale after class for anyone interested). Beginning at the bottoms of the feet where there are many acupressure points, working up the legs and into the hips, belly, entire back, arms, neck/shoulders and head, these offering covers all the main parts and pieces of typical complaint in regard to tightness, overworking, soreness, and generalized pain and dysfunction.
Some basic yoga poses and stretching will accompany the self-massage techniques to further the awareness and feel-good nature of this work.
Clothing that fits closely to the body is ideal for therapy balls to keep from tangling up, and long hair should be able to be put up for the upper body portion of the workshop.
Positive effects of this work:
